About Us; The Tearaways
The Tearaway's were formed in October 1997, with only 9 members, and since then, they have grown to have a massive 90+ members. We are open to all young people aged 11 to 19 years, from all backgrounds, origins, religious beliefs, disabilities and interests. We're the group anyone can join. And have fun with.

Not School; but you still learn
All young people are taught the three main skills of theatre work; Singing, Dancing, and Acting - and by learning one or all three of these skills it is hoped a young person's confidence and creativity skills will develop more.
Show it off
All our productions are staged at the Civic Hall Shildon. Over the years the group has performed many productions such as Mary Poppins, The Sound Of Music, Oliver, The Disney Show, A Night At The Movies and Musicals, Grease, Wizard Of Oz, and many more.
Traditions
As well as putting on two shows a year, we're always preparing for our annual pantomime; one of the most anticipated events of the year. In the past we've produced and entertained everyone with spectacular productions such as Snow White, Cinderella and even Aladdin!
